Born from a Love of Animals
Kumar Grooming was founded in 2020 in the heart of Nişantaşı, Istanbul. What started as a passion project by two certified groomers has grown into one of the city's most trusted premium pet salons, serving over 3,200 happy pets to date.
Our founder, Baran Kumar, grew up surrounded by animals and always believed that pets deserve the same level of care and attention that we give ourselves. After years of training in Istanbul and abroad — including advanced coursework in Vienna and Amsterdam — he opened Kumar Grooming with a clear vision: a salon that combines professional skill with genuine compassion.
Every decision we make — from the products we stock to the way we design our appointments — is guided by one question: "Is this the best we can do for this animal?"

Senior Grooming Specialist
With 8+ years of professional experience and training at the International Pet Grooming Academy in Vienna, Aylin leads our small breed and feline grooming programme. She's known for her extraordinary patience and her ability to calm even the most anxious cats.
Emre Yıldız
Lead Dog Groomer
Emre is a certified canine behaviour specialist and professional groomer who trained in Amsterdam and Istanbul. His expertise covers large and working breeds, and his calm energy makes even nervous dogs feel safe and comfortable on the grooming table.
